30 Minutes of Stretching
Comments: I wasn't sure how today was going to go with my neck/trap feeling out of sorts. Only certain motions seemed to bother it during warm-ups so I was good to go. Took a bit for my shoulders to get warmed up. Dumbbell overheads were a little rusty (sweaty hands didn't help) but I got back my groove on the two heavy sets. For incline I switched to the plate loadable dumbbells and used my Okie clamps to secure the weights. Balance was a bit tougher with the plates rolling but I managed to make a big jump in weight. I decided to ditch the JM presses for now and tried out a pressdown variation from my friend Zach Gallman who has a monster overhead press. You use a rope attachment but grip it at the very top. If my hands were any closer, they'd be clasped together. Did stretching to finish up the day.
