Comments: I did not feel motivated today so I took it light (mostly) with low volume. Actually had a bit of a workout getting the big stone into the truck before my dad and I went out to Chambersburg. I did part of the medley for an upcoming show that has a keg carry load with power stairs. Since the loading pin setup we have is awful (biceps no likey) I just did the kegs. On the last set, the 300lbs keg rolled back off the platform. You can see why no one uses that platform haha. 350lbs keg is easy to load but incredibly tough to get it stable on my lap since the weight is mostly on one end. I had planned on doing sled pulls to simulate truck pulling but figured hell we got trucks, let's do that. Wasn't too bad, always a plus when I end up using training partners as weights. Now I really didn't want to get into anything like dragging or stone loading so I went with some plate pinches. I have only recently been able to pinch grip a pair of 35lbs plates so I gave them a shot and improved a bit. Before I could just get them up for only a second or two. After that "workout" we weighed the stone. It came out to 452lbs which was way heavier than I was expecting but it's good for me as I wanted a big heavy stone. We'll be sealing it up next weekend. I won't be using it for a while since I got two shows coming up soon. The plan is to get at it hard this week.
