Comments: Remember how I said that I would rest and hit events hard today? Well about that... it didn't happen. I had big plans today but man was I not into it today. After the first flip with the tire I wanted to go home. Last time I felt like this was after that simulated truck pull but that time I felt like death. This time I'm not sure what was going on with me. I spent most of the time helping the other guys. Two of my training partners hit PR's with a 910lbs yoke. The tire 725lbs tire just mutilated the flesh on my shoulders. Going to have some nice scabbing there once it heals. I joined in on the prowler pushes (it was an I go you go with three/four people). Easy until the last one. I felt like I let the other guys down by being a mopey downer so after thinking for a bit after getting home, I decided to do the workout I was supposed to do yesterday. Took short rests with box squats and chain yoke. Long rests for farmers as I had to load and unload them and move them when cars came by and stuff. Grip wasn't the best and the farmers felt heavy. Felt lazy so I just rigged up some therabands and chains to add weight to dimels. Eh, I'll take it. Do work.
